Lori represents home buyers and sellers, specializing in properties located in the areas that she has lived, especially Kendall, where she grew up, Brickell/Downtown, where she lived for 6 years, and the Pinecrest/Palmetto Bay/Cutler Bay area, where she now resides. Additionally, with her extensive contacts around the state and use of the Internet, she has also served clients in the areas of Doral, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Aventura, and Coconut Grove.
Lori works in mid to high end properties. Certified in luxury home marketing by The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing (ILHM), Lori utilizes the techniques she learned from the Institute to market all of her properties, regardless of price range. Holding a Business degree in Marketing from the University of Miami, she has impeccable marketing savvy and business knowledge, which she uses to strategize highly effective marketing plans for her listings.
Previously, Lori assisted in the operations of her own family's real estate brokerage, and working alongside her husband in his boutique mortgage firm, she became intensely familiar with the pitfalls that can lie ahead for a buyer or seller in terms of financing their transaction. She understands well what to look for in the pre-qualifying of a potential buyer of a property and is acutely aware of the myriad of hurdles and issues that can ultimately hinder a buyer in the purchase process.
Prior to her brokerage work, Lori was for several years an Investor Relations Associate with an investment firm in Coral Gables that managed hedge funds. Having been in the complicated world of hedge funds, she learned the absolute necessity of educating the client. In any kind of investment or sale, whether in real estate or hedge funds, the more knowledgeable the buyer or seller is, the more comfortable he or she will be in making good decisions and the smoother the transaction will proceed. Providing education, unparalleled client service, and always being flexible and communicative are features of Lori's service that have led to her high success rates in achieving the end goals of her clients.
For Lori, the process of educating her homebuyer or seller client begins with an initial consultation in which she lays out the entire real estate process, including what to expect, do's and don'ts, and everything in between. So, once the process begins, the amount of surprises that may pop up will be kept to an absolute minimum, allowing for a smooth transaction and a high likelihood of closing. In addition, throughout the process, she sends relevant articles and market data and generally keeps the client as informed as possible and always in the loop.
Originally from Long Island, NY, Lori has lived in Miami for most of her life (34 years), and she now resides in Palmetto Bay with her husband John, their 4.5 year old daughter, Olivia, 9 month old daughter, Gabriella, and 2 adopted dogs. The purchase and complete renovation of her current home has given her first-hand experience in handling a full remodel.
